What's on the card

Front — the H's, with associations and actions:

• Hypoxia, hypovolaemia, hypo/hyperthermia, hypo/hyperkalaemia and metabolic causes

Reverse — the T's, with associations and actions:

• Tension pneumothorax, thrombus, tamponade and toxins

Each includes recognition clues (e.g. JVD, tracheal deviation, low ETCO₂) and interventions (e.g. needle thoracostomy, thrombolysis, reversal agents, Toxbase).
